Not huge gains made in the world of knitting and crocheting for me this week I am afraid… I don’t even think I worked a row or two on my Flippant sweater 😦
Lots of other diversions, unfortunately. The change in weather has my spirits up but my two darling sons are crazy right now. Which is sometimes entertaining, but not always.
I have been working on a secret project, that I am destined to have finished sooner rather than later… although this week I had to reconstruct pieces of it more than twice, and that for me is frustrating.
Round 2 of Nerd Wars, Tournament 10 wrapped up on Friday and round three begins on Tuesday. I am hoping that I have a chance to get at some of the projects I have planned for this impending round… The sweater NEEDS to get finished and I would like to keep up my flawless record so far in this competition.
I love seeing other peoples progess on their blog entries today. Must go keep looking at them!
With the kids back into school full time and me back at work, I am quite surprised at myself as to how much I got completed on my flippant sweater this week! Isn’t it amazing when you don’t let any other WIPS taunt and tease you while they wait their turn in your WIP basket?
Ideally this sweater is to be completed by April 28th. I would like to see it be finished by Easter weekend. I have about 4 weeks.
I know I can do it…
This is what is looks like now!
Have a great knitting Sunday!
With March Break now over, I start thinking about the next holiday weekend (Easter) and all the lovely knitting things I could work on then… Since this March Break was way busier (with my children) than I had originally anticipated… Whereas much knitting and crocheting was done, I did not manage to finish any objects… I am so very close to a couple though… AND my flippant sweater is getting longer everyday! A few more rows and I will be able to split it up into front and back pieces. That will be exciting. My goal is to have this sweater finished for the Knitters Frolic at the end of April. Totally doable, I just can’t cast on anything else in the mean time. Hahaha. I will try not to.
If you live in the Toronto area, or can foresee yourself taking a day trip here… Your should try and get to the knitters frolic… It is amazing.

Happy knitting everyone!
Here we are again! And I am posting on time!! Amazing.
Not lots completed this week. Finished the crocheted portion of this.
It will be a cute dress for my youngest neice.
Along with that project, I submitted two more projects for Nerd Wars on ravelry
Here are pics of them
This is a crocheted corsage. It is cute. And took no time to complete! I like the button in the middle.
And this is a bandana for an autism service dog puppy. It is cute and I have a puppy in mind for it.
I continue to work on my blue sweater for myself and I Have to complete two more hats for the nerd wars.
Lots going on and much headway to be made this week in the knitting world – as we are on Spring break 😉
Not so much to report this week… Like no FO’s. None.
But I have made progress on this…
Here is where I am… Literally only five inches done… I much make this my priority… I want it done!
I love this sweater. I will have other nerd wars things to blog about too. But I am still deciding on them for round 2
Have a good week!
